Melinda Zamora

Melinda Elaine Slay Zamora, 38, of Graford, Texas, passed away Saturday February 16, 2013 in Mineral Wells. Honorary Firefighter Funeral Services will be Thursday February 21 at 10:00 AM at Abundant Life Church in Graford, Texas. Graveside service is at McAdams Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday February 20, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Home. Melinda was born in Mineral Wells on September 09, 1974, the daughter of Tommy and Margaret Walker Slay. She attended Mineral Wells High School. She married Hector Zamora Jr. on August 12, 2000 in Mineral Wells. She was active in her community serving as a Graford Volunteer Fire Fighter. She is survived by her husband, five children, T.J Zamora, Tyson Zamora, Christopher Zamora, Daniel Zamora, and Rachel Zamora, her Father Tommy Slay, one brother Michael Slay, her Father in law and mother in law Hector Zamora, Sr. and Eva Zamora, numerous nieces, nephews, other family and a host of friends. She is preceded in death by her mother Margaret Walker Slay and one uncle J.K. Slay. Donations can be made in Melinda memory to Graford Volunteer Fire Department.
