Maxine Lavelle Horan

Maxine Lavelle Horan passed away on December 17, 2024, in Graford, Texas. Maxine was born on February 4, 1941, in Jacksboro, Texas to Clifford Duncan and Marie Olsten. 

Maxine worked at Winn Dixie and Brookshires for many years as a receiving clerk.

Maxine is survived by her daughters Julie Short and Joy Pilgrim. She is also survived by grandchildren Joe Neal (Kyndall) Pilgrim and great grandson Cainan, Conner(Brooke)Pilgrim and great grandson Layton, Katie(Jackie) Polk and great grandson Holland and great granddaughter Harper, Michael (Misty) Short and family; other family members Martha Decker and sons Weston and Jansen Decker, and J B Horan and family.

She was preceded in death by her husband Joe Horan, daughter Janice Baynes and her sister Neva Dell Maxwell.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday December 21, 2024, at the Perrin Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
