Maureen Walker

Maureen King Walker, of Graford, Texas, died in Palo Pinto General Hospital on Tuesday, December 28, 2010. She was born in Perrin, Texas on December 31, 1923, daughter of the late Vic and Hazel King of Perrin. Brothers J. L. and B. B. King also preceded her in death. Maureen and her black mare Cee Cee led parades and trail rides in the area for many years. She was known as the "Lady in Red." She is survived by her son: Roy R. Walker Jr., grandsons: Dallas Walker and Ryan Walker, cousin: Rojane Herring of Whitt, and friend: Betty Donaho of Graford.
