Mattie L. Ballenger

Mattie L. Ballenger, 95, passed away May 5, 2009 in a Corsicana nursing home. She was born July 14, 1913 in Bennett the daughter of John and Melissa Reasoner Lowe. She married Fritz Ballenger in 1963 in Mineral Wells. She had lived in Corsicana for the past 3 ½ years and in Mineral Wells prior to that. Services will be 10 AM Thursday, May 7, 2009 in the Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Chapel. Burial will follow in Willow Pond Cemetery. Visitation is Wednesday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Betty and Hollis Swink of Corsicana, grandchildren and spouses: Ricky and Nikki Ashley of Mineral Wells, Vicki Davis of Katy, Patsy Crawford of Mineral Wells, Debbie Dow of Mineral Wells, Connie Putman of Chandler, Joann and Grady Pearson of Corsicana, 8 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great-grandchildren, and brother and sister-in-law: Charles and Mary Ann Stone of Harker Heights. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband in 1997, daughter: Evadean Simpson, granddaughter: Linda Doss, great-grandson: Robert Hook Jr., 4 sisters, and 2 brothers.
