Matt Gilispie

Matt Gilispie, 27, passed away April 25, 2011 in a Fort Worth hospital. He was born February 15, 1984 in Mineral Wells the son of Ernest and Mary Ann McClure Gilispie. He married Jessica Nelson on June 8, 2005 in Jamaica. He was a lifetime resident of Graford and a member of the Graford Church of Christ. He was a former member of the Graford Volunteer Fire Department and EMS. He was a supervisor for SEI Oil Company. He always helped people and was a hero at heart. Services will be 10 AM Thursday, April 28, 2011 at First Baptist Church of Mineral Wells with Don Lamont officiating. Burial will follow in Cowboy Crossing Cemetery. Visitation is Wednesday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. He is survived by his wife: Jessica Gilispie of Mineral Wells, daughter: Valerie Gilispie of Mineral Wells, nephew: Chance Phariss of Mineral Wells, mother: Mary Ann Gillispie of Graford, sisters: Brenda Light of Bryson, Sandra Lemley of Graford, Carolyn Ranspot of Graford, aunts: Doris Wagnon of Graford, Lorean Weldon of Mineral Wells, uncle: Clydene Gilispie of Abilene, mother-in-law and father-in-law: Don and Ronda Lamont of Springtown, nieces: Jessica Minks, Mackenzie Minks, nephews: Andrew Gilispie and Jaylyn Houser, and numerous other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father: Ernest Gilispie and uncle: Arthur Wagnon. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a trust fund at Titan Bank set up for his daughter.
