Matilda Ann Baker, 86, of Haslet, Texas, passed away Thursday, September 10,2009. Funeral services will be 2 PM Sunday at the Baum-Carlock-BumgardnerChapel with burial at the Woodland Park Cemetery. Raymond Loftis and Rev.Jerry Word will officiate. Pallbearers will be Dennis Heath, Lee Bohanan,Eddie Hanlon, Aaron Baker, Brian Baker and Scott Presley. Honorarypallbearers will be John Yates, Cody Heath and Ethan Baker. Visitation willbe 6-8 PM Saturday.Mrs. Baker was born March 1, 1923 in Wind Cave, Kentucky, the daughter of Edand Mary Jane Isaacs Mays. She married Claude Baker, August 31, 1939 inMcKee, Kentucky, and he preceded her in death April 1, 1995. She moved toMineral Wells in 1965 and was a member of the City View Trinity Church.Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Claude, Jr. and RobertaBaker of Vero Beach, FL, Marlin Corbitt and Trish Baker of Santee,California and Thomas Baker of Mineral Wells; daughters and sons-in-law,Mary and Gene Hanlon of Alvin, Annis Heath of Mineral Wells, Minnie and DougHunt of Mineral Wells, Hester and Phil Tankersley of Ft. Worth, Gladys"Girlie" Loftis of Graford, April Glatt of Mineral Wells and Trudy Mullinsof Mineral Wells; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren andgreat-great-grandchildren; sisters, Ruthie Hayes of El Cajon, California andLottie Coyle of Cornersville, Tennessee; numerous nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by a son, Ed Baker, three brothers, Marlin, Garnetand Ruford Mays and a sister, Hester Barker.
