MaryAnn Smith

MaryAnn Smith went to her reward after 89 years on April 4, 2015. Mary was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. MaryAnn was a lifelong resident of mineral Wells; the daughter of Joseph and Kathryn (Foti) Decicco. She was on her way to California to work in the film industry when she stopped in Mineral Wells and met George her late husband. He ended up moving to California and she stayed here, upon moving back they met up again and dated 6 months then married. Mary and George started Georges Mans Shoppe. She had an eye for style and class and was the purchaser of garments for the business along with everyday activities. She and George had an adventurous career for 58 years before his passing in 2006; she carried on the name and business just up until her death. Survivors are son, Ronald G. Smith; granddaughter, Allia Smith; grandson, Austin Smith of Toluca Lake, CA. brother, Joseph and sister0in-lae Julie of Syracuse, New York, Bobbi Smith sister-in-law of Mineral Wells along with numerous nieces and nephews in Mineral Wells, New York and Florida. Visitation will be Tuesday April 7, 2015 from 6-8pm. The funeral service will be Wednesday April 8, 2015 2pm at First Christian Church; burial will follow at Woodland Park Cemetery.
