Mary Etta Busby Russell was called home on August 23,2012. Mary was a loving wife, mother,and servant to many. She was the rock that held everything together, the whisper you couldalways hear, the sweet smell you could never forget, the laughter at every joyous event, and thecalming presence when life dealt adversity.Mary was born June 14, 1933 in Bailey County, Texas to Milton and Olivia Busby.Mary was preceded in death by her late husbands, Robert "Bud" Russell of Mineral Wells andBenjamin Franklin Hale of Wise County Texas, her parents, an infant son, brothers Clyde Busbyand Norris Busby, sisters Mae Maness, Ida Galvez, and Joyce Zimmerman.Mary is survived by three brothers, Hoyt Busby and wife Bobbie of Amarillo, Charles Busby ofAmarillo, and Harold Busby of Hereford; one sister, Janie Miller and husband Skip ofTennessee; four sons, Richard Noland of Huntsville, Ken Russell and wife, Cindy of MineralWells, Robert Russell of Boyd, and Delbert Russell of Newcastle, Oklahoma; three daughters,Othena Frisbee of Stephenville, Karan Poage of Tuttle, Oklahoma, and Leticia Bolen ofPensacola Florida; 14 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and ahost of loving friends and family.Celebration of Life Service for Mary Etta Busby Russell will be held at Baum Carlock FuneralHome in Mineral Wells, Texas on September 8, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. Mary's nephew, Rev. JackieBusby will officiate.
