Mary Louis Martin

Mary Louis Martin 84 of Weatherford passed away July 30, 2011. Born in Rendon, Texas, the daughter of Aaron and Dora (Manning) Camp. Mary worked as an Executive Assistant for many years, but was best known for being a beloved wife, mother and grandmother and brought many smiles to her loved ones faces; she resided in Palo Pinto County for 54 years where she worked and raised her family; since moving to Weatherford in 2003 she was very active at the Parker County Senior Center and Park View Terrace where she had many close friendships that she formed through the years; these dear friends that she had made will miss her very much. Survivors are: daughter, Gay Cooper and husband Kenneth and granddaughter Naomi of Santo; sons Darwin Martin and wife Nora of Olive Branch, MS, Stephen Martin of Marble Fall; brother-in-law Roy Wilson of Fort Worth; sister-in-laws Madee Martin of Rendon and Marjorie Martin of Lipan along with numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years Herman Ray Martin, 5 brothers and 4 sisters. Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, August 3, 2011 from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Graveside services are scheduled for Thursday August 4, 2011, 10 AM at Dobbs Valley Cemetery. The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Parker County Meals on Wheels.
