Mary Jane Hendrick was born on March 23, 1923 and passed awayFriday, June 14, 2013. She graduated from North Texas StateTeacher's College (now University of North Texas) and then marriedE. W. Hendrick on November 12, 1944. They traveled around whileE. W. was in the Navy and then aide to Congressman Omar Burlesonin Washington, D. C. Finally settling in Mineral Wells, Mary Jane devoted her full time and attention to raising her family. She was active in the First United Methodist Church of Mineral Wells where she volunteered as pianist for the primary Sunday school class for many years. Services will be 2 PM Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at First United Methodist Church in Mineral Wells. Burial will follow in Woodland Park Cemetery. Visitation is Monday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Mary Jane was preceded in death by her husband, E. W.; son, Mike; grandchildren, Kevin Hendrick and Coley Hendrick DuPre; and great granddaughters Megan Oleson and Rebecca Ragsdale. Surviving are daughter Cindy Kozmetsky and her husband Greg of Austin, daughter Becky Hull and her husband Paul of Richardson, and son Joe and his wife Patricia of Fort Worth. She was Nanny to her nine grandchildren and their spouses and 22 great-grandchildren withanother on the way. Mary Jane will be remembered by all who knew her as a person of love and grace. Her family meant everything to her and she loved unconditionally. She celebrated every joy and suffered every pain. She was our happy.
