Mary Lou Carter passed away Friday, June 21, 2019. She was born March 5, 1930, to Carroll and Minnie Wimberly Allen, in Hope, Arkansas. She was a resident of Mineral Wells since 1957 and a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Mineral Wells. Mary was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bill P. Carter; and daughter, Mary Elaine Carter.Survivors include her children Priscilla Geeo and husband Hershel, Billie Colvin and husband Charles, Perry Carter and wife Ronda, Stanley Carter and wife Tyra; grandchildren Todd Nicks, Linda Lusk, Jeremy Colvin, Joel Colvin, Ashley Swearingin, Tanner Carter, Presley Carter, Crissy Carter, and Anthony Carter; 16 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.Visitation will be Sunday evening from 5-7 at the First Baptist Church. Funeral Services are 2 p.m., Monday, June 24 at First Baptist Church with burial following at Poolville Cemetery.
