Marvin Ardell Mennenga, 70, passed away May 22, 2012 at Lake Palo Pinto. He was born January 6, 1942 in Puyallup, Washington the son of Richard and Vivian Enlow Mennenga. He married Peggy Radford on December 13, 2003 in Madisonville. He was retired from the US Army as 1SG (First Sergeant) and Sergeant Major's Academy in January 1980, having served two tours in Vietnam. He had lived at Lake Palo Pinto for the past two years and in Riverside, Texas prior to that. He was a member of the Mt. Moriah Two Bridges Nahe #823 Masonic Lodge. Graveside services will be 10 AM Saturday, May 26, 2012 at Indian Creek Cemetery with Rev. David Leatherman officiating. Fort Hood Army Personnel will render full military honors and serve as pallbearers. He is survived by his wife: Peggy Mennenga of Lake Palo Pinto, daughter and son-in-law: Tanja and Kenneth Whited of San Antonio, grandchildren: Shaun Mennenga, Eric and Dakota Whited, and sister: Donna Dedner of Puyallup, Washington.
