Martha Louise Wickes

Martha Louise Wickes, 91, passed away February 23, 2019 in Tyler. She was born July 28, 1927 in Georgetown the daughter of Troy F. and Martha L. May Southworth. She had lived in Tyler for the past 7 years and in Mineral Wells prior to that. She was a devoted member of Southside Church of Christ. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. Services will be 2 PM Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at Southside Church of Christ. Burial will follow in Woodland Park Cemetery. Visitation is Tuesday from 1-2 PM at the church prior to the service. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law: Sam and Lorie Wickes of Paris, Texas, daughter and son-in-law: Becky and Monty Whetstone of Tyler, daughter-in-law: Kathy Wickes, grandchildren: Stephanie Pevehouse, Ryan Wickes, Matthew Wickes, Addison Whetstone, Jonathan Wickes, Regan Wickes, Ally Whetstone, Zachary Wickes, and Andy Whetstone, and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband: William Marvin Wickes on February 19, 2006, and her son: W. A. Wickes in 1996. Donations may be made to Southside Church of Christ in her memory.
