Martha Reese

Martha Rhea Reese, 87, passed away August 17, 2015 in a Weatherford hospital. She was born May 18, 1928 in Eldorado, Oklahoma the daughter of Ray and Martha Mae Bradley Nix. She married Donald Reese on August 2, 1953 in Garner. She was a longtime resident of Mineral Wells and a member of 11th Avenue Church. She was a past member of a Square Dance Club. She was an excellent seamstress and loved making clothes for dolls, she loved to do needlepoint, and she loved spending many hours reading her favorite books. Services will be 10 AM Friday, August 21, 2015 at 11th Avenue Church. Burial will follow in Woodland Park Cemetery. Visitation is Thursday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. She is survived by her husband: Donald Reese of Mineral Wells, daughters and son-in-law: Kay and David Moore of Granbury, Jan Parker of Hudson Oaks, Grandchildren and spouses: Candy and Jim Corbett of Colleyville, Chris and Heather Moore of Aledo, John Parker of Fort Worth, Jason Parker of Denton, great-grandchildren: Matt, Katie, Madeline, and Max, sister: Ann Maddux of Colleyville, nieces and nephews: Larry Buckingham, Barbara Ann Bain, Jeff and Corey Maddux, and Teri Byrd. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister: Merlene Nichols, and son: Donald Mark Reese.
