Martha Gifford

Martha Jean Gifford, 60, passed away May 9, 2016 at her home in Perrin. She was born July 15, 1955 in Mineral Wells the daughter of L. E. and Mary Clay Hardy. She married Steve Gifford on July 30, 1978 in Perrin. She was a longtime resident of Mineral Wells and a member of the Perrin Community Church. She taught school at Liberty Elementary in Azle for 16 years. Services will be 2 PM Friday, May 13, 2016 at First Baptist Church of Perrin. Burial will follow in Perrin Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation is Thursday from 6-8 PM in the funeral home annex. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Alicia and Peter Gomez, granddaughters: Rylee and Camryn, brother: David Hardy, and nieces and nephews: Blakeny Terry, Gaston Hardy, and Makenzie and Zack Mauney. She was preceded in death by her husband on September 26, 2004, her parents, and one grandson.
