Marilyn Joyce Murray

Marilyn Joyce Murray, 75, passed away October 10, 2013 in a Mineral Wells nursing home. She was born July 30, 1938 in San Diego, California the daughter of Gerald Leo and Docia Irene Phillips Grantham. She married Robert Lee Murray in 1957 in Mineral Wells. She had lived in Palo Pinto County since 1952. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Possum Kingdom. She was a member of the PPGH Hospital Auxiliary. She loved to play bridge and was a member of several bridge clubs. She and her husband owned and operated Murray's Grocery at PK from 1973-1994. Services will be 10 AM Monday, October 14, 2013 at the First Baptist Church of Possum Kingdom. Burial will follow in Perrin Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation is Sunday from 2-4 PM at the funeral home. She is survived by her husband: Robert Lee Murray of Mineral Wells, daughter: Debbie Murray of Mineral Wells, son and daughter-in-law: Glen and Gail Murray of Arlington, granddaughter: Sara Murray of North Richland Hills and fiancé Danny Wall, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.
