Margie Herring

Margie Herring, 83, passed away November 16, 2009 at her home in Whitt. She was born September 3, 1926 in Alpine the daughter of Milburn Gregory and Minnie Beatrice Coffey Hunsucker. She had lived in Whitt since 1952 and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Perrin. She married James Franklin Herring Jr. on March 6, 1948 in Junction and he preceded her in death on August 21, 2009. Services will be 10 AM Thursday, November 19, 2009 in the Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Chapel with C. W. Schaefer officiating. Burial will be 10 AM Friday, November 20, 2009 in the Junction Cemetery. Visitation is 4-6 PM Wednesday at Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Home. Another visitation is Thursday from 6-7:30 PM at Graham Funeral Home in Junction. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Cynthia and David Taylor of Santo, sons: James F Herring III of Graford, Mark Herring of Denver, Colorado, 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the James and Margie Herring Scholarship Fund Graford ISD 400 W.
