Margaret Grossman

d. November 30, 2011

Margaret Grossman mother of Jeanette Ender passed away at a local nursing home on November 30, 2011. She was born in Windthorst, Texas on May 17, 1920. Margaret was a devoted wife and mother for all of her 91 years that God blessed her here with us. After the death of her husband C.J. (better known as Duke) who preceded her over 30 years on December 18, 1980. Margaret had the responsibility of maintaining two farms and even when needed, drove a tractor in her cotton fields. She was also employed as a Quality Control Supervisor for Walls Manufacturing in Snyder, Texas. She was dedicated to both of her daughters Mary Morrison and Jeanette Ender; and her four grandchildren. Margaret was the type of person that never complained and just handled what needed to be handled; placed everyone else's needs before hers and put her faith in the Lord. Margaret loved her girls and grand kids and made sure that all their need were always met. Margaret with her dry sense of humor always had to give her caregivers just a "little love pinch" as they passed by to let them know she cared. She lived and farmed in Hermleigh, Texas until June of 2005 when she came to Mineral Wells to live with her daughter Jeanette and Gene Ender. Margaret made her home here and was loved by her many family and friends and will definitely be missed by all. However, now she will bask in the glory of the Lord with Duke, and all of her family members that have preceded her. She is survived by daughters Mary and Wayne Morrison of Wylie, Texas; Jeanette and Gene Ender of Mineral Wells; Grandchildren Rick & Cheryl Morrison, Christopher & Chrissy Morrison, Meredith and Bryan Reiley, Christi Newman of Brussels Belgium and Steve Ender, Austin. She was preceded in death by her parents Henry Wimmer and Earnestine Kiner Wimmer, Brothers Alphonse Wimmer, William Wimmer, Emil Wimmer and Anton Wimmer. Sisters Philomina Wimmer Hundsnurcher, and Amelia (Rae) Wimmer Brink, and she is survived by three sisters, Estella Wimmer Ressig,Lubbock, Madeline Wimmer Ellison, Keller, Texas; Lillian Wimmer Heinrich, Slaton & Valeria Wimmer, and many nieces and nephews. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church Mineral Wells, Thursday December 8th at 2:00 p.m. Family Visitation 6-8 P.M. Wednesday with the Rosary at 7:00 and burial will be in the Hermleigh, Texas Cemetery Friday at 1:00.
