Marcia Frances Elmore

Marcia Frances Elmore, a loving mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on February 9, 2025, at the age of 73.

Born on October 15, 1951, Marcia grew up in Perrin and graduated from Perrin High School. Right after that she married her husband of 45 years, Lester Elmore and started a family. She enjoyed several different jobs over the years but her favorite was working home health. She always had great compassion for those she took care of. She was raised in and attended church her whole life and her love for God shined through her with everyone she met. She loved singing and worshiping and was part of the praise and worship team at her church. She will be deeply missed by her family and all those whose lives she touched. Her kindness, generosity, and warm smile left a lasting impact on everyone she knew.

Survivors include her son, Delbert Elmore and wife Dawn Elmore; her daughter, D’Nae Hinkle and husband David Hinkle; grandchildren, Aydin Elmore, Andrea Hinkle, Dylan Hinkle, and Nicholas Hinkle. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lester Elmore; her father, Delbert Shawver and her mother, Marjorie Gillespie. 

Visitation will be at Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Home Friday evening from 5-7 p.m. Graveside service will be 2 p.m., Saturday, February 15, 2025 at Perrin Memorial Garden Cemetery.
