Mac Magee

Mac Magee, 82, passed away August 22, 2018 in Mineral Wells. He was born January 3, 1936 in Boston, Massachusetts the son of Norman and Mary Estell Gallahue Magee. He married Oneta Gates on February 19, 1972 in Oak Cliff. He was a longtime resident of Mineral Wells. He was retired from the US Navy. He served on the North Rural Water Board for many years. He was a supervisor for US Brick for a number of years. Services will be 2 PM Saturday August 25, 2018 in the Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Chapel. Burial will follow in McAdams Cemetery. Visitation is Friday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. He is survived by his wife: Oneta Magee of Mineral Wells, sister: Kathy Hall of New Hampshire, brothers: Michael Magee of Andrews, and Matthew Magee of Tennessee, sister-in-law: Juanita Jackson of Mineral Wells, niece: Nita Reed of Mineral Wells, nephews: Ricky and Richard Reed of Mineral Wells, 1 great-niece, several great-nephews, and special friends: Jeff and Barbara Kimbrell of Mineral Wells, and Dylan Kimbrell of Mineral Wells. He was preceded in death by his parents, 6 siblings, and his son: Harry Gates.
