M. Moss Dickerson was born November 18, 1945 in Cooper, Texas the son of Marrion Matthew and Nettie Moss Dickerson and passed away on Tuesday, April 19, 2011 in Dallas, Texas. Graveside funeral services will be 10:30 AM, Saturday at the Woodland Park Cemetery, John Tate officiating.Moss graduated from Vernon High School and went on to attend Fort Worth Christian College. He completed his Bachelor's Degree at Tarleton State University. He sought further professional education by attending Southwestern School of Pharmacy and the University of Texas Dental Branch at Houston.Dr. Dickerson was a practicing dentist in Mineral Wells for 35 years. He serves the Mineral Wells community in various capacities including the Mineral Wells Little League, Mineral Wells Parks and Recreation Board, the Rotary club, the HOPE Board and the Mineral Wells Independent School District Board of Education.He leaves behind a wife of 44 years, Sue Ellen Scott Dickerson, a daughter, Scottye Denbow and her husband Cole, a son, Rein Moss Dickerson, a senior at Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, a grandson to be born in Many, Rein Ford Denbow, and a brother, Joe Dickerson and wife, Janet of Hurst, TX. Further, he leaves numerous close friends, office staff and patients that he considered his extended family.The family acknowledges and gratefully thanks the Medical City Transplant Center, Dr. Mark Lerman and staff, Dr. Barry Brooks of Texas Oncology and staff, nurses of 8th, 9th, and 10th floors South, nurses of Critical Care Medical City; Carmen Cava-Bartsch 2001 Transplant Coordinator; Courtney Cloud Physician's Assistant for Critical Care Medical City, Dallas.
