Lynn Thetford

Lynn Thetford, 92, passed away January 19, 2018 in Weatherford. He was born in Jacksboro the son of William A. and Lona Lynn Thetford. He had lived in Mineral Wells for the past 10 years and was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the US Navy having served in WWII. He had many different occupations, but his love was being a cowboy and horse trader. Services will be 2 PM Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at Immanuel Baptist Church with Rev. David Wilkins officiating. Burial will follow in Perrin Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation is Tuesday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. He is survived by his wife of 71 years: Charlene Thetford of Mineral Wells, sons and daughters-in-law: Jimmy and Alice Thetford of Springtown, Jerry and Retha Thetford of Alvarado, and Jack and Martha Thetford of Fort Worth, 7 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and 8 brothers and sisters.
