Lynn Meeks

Lynn Meeks, 71, of Mineral Wells, Tx passed away Monday, September 2, 2019 in Dallas. He was born to Robert and Betty Meeks on December 3, 1947, in Mineral Wells.Lynn met and married Inez McFadden Meeks on November 9, 1967 while serving in the U.S. Army. He served in the 101st Airborne Division during Vietnam. They were both long time members of the Mineral Wells Church of God.He loved watching sports and time with his children and grandchildren.Lynn is survived by his wife of 52 years, Inez Meeks; daughters, Shelly Salas and husband Manuel of Mineral Wells, Tiffany Meeks of Mineral Wells, and Lindy Meeks and fiancé Daniel Gore of North Carolina; grandchildren, Kolten Gonzales and wife Jaycie, Kaitlyn Mahaney and husband Taylor, Manuel Salas and Victoria Salas; great-grandchildren, Hayden, Hudson, and Hadley Gonzales and Holland Mahaney; sister, Doreen Trejo and husband Evido; brother, Jim Bob Meeks; numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Lynn was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Brenda.Visitation will be 6-8 Friday at Baum-Carlock Bumgardner Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Saturday, September 7, 2019 at Mineral Wells Church of God, Pastor Jerrel Tomlin officiating.
