Lyman Eugene Lovern

Lyman Eugene Lovern, 78, of Mineral Wells, Texas, left us peacefully on February, 2025. Eugene was born on March 28, 1946, in Graham, Texas, he grew up as the only son of Earmon and Irene Lovern and was brother to three sisters.

In October of 1965, Eugene married the love of his life, Darlene. They were married for over 55 years before her passing in 2020.

Eugene is survived by his sons and daughters in law; Chip and Susanna Lovern and Earmon and Peggy Lovern, his four granddaughters; Lacey and Brandon Krause and son Axel, Taylor Lovern and fiancé Tony, Brooklyn and Danny Hurtado and daughters Lawsyn and Lennyn, and Stormy Lovern. He is also survived by his sister Monja.

Eugene was preceded in death by his wife Darlene and his son Boyd “Bubba” Lovern.

Eugene’s memory will be cherished by all who knew him. The funeral will be a private ceremony, remembering Eugene in the presence of close family.
