Loy Thomas "Tommy" Cason

Tommy passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2024, at the age of 86 in Mineral Wells, Tx. He was born in his family home, North of Mineral Wells, on Dec. 13, 1937. He was married twice. His children from both marriages are David Cason, Tanya Cason Clayton, Tina Brown Moss, and Sonny Brown.

He was a firefighter at Southern Airways in Fort Walters until it closed and transferred to the Dallas Naval Air Station in Grande Prairie, Tx. He retired after 21 years of service. Tommy had received his real estate broker's license and opened his own business, Cason Real Estate, for 12 years. He was a lifetime resident of Mineral Wells and was a 48-year member at the Northside Baptist Church. He was very proud of his professional accomplishments.

Tommy was preceded in death by his father-Elga Cason, mother-Irene Morris Cason Watson, sister-Ruthie Glover Cline, and brothers- Marvin D. Cason and Butch Cason.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Cason, children- David Cason, Tanya Clayton, Tina Moss, and Sonny Brown. He is survived by his sister, Donna Srader and numerous nieces and nephews. Tommy was survived by his grandchildren- Kaleb Kuhn, Kolby Kuhn, Dalton Clayton, David Cason Jr., Tiffany Brown, and Morgan Moss. He was survived by several great grandchildren. He was a great father and friend to many people throughout his years.

 The visitation is at 9 AM and memorial services will be held on Friday, 7/19/24, at 10 am at Northside Baptist Church in Mineral Wells, Tx. Graveside services will be at Staggs Prairie Cemetery.
