Lovie Jean Burns, 73, passed away May 1, 2009 in a Fort Worth hospice facility. She was born February 4, 1936 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas the daughter of the late Hudson Sr. and Clara Warrior Stover. She married to Narvestor Joseph Burns, Sr. She had lived in Mineral Wells since 1954 and was a licensed beautician and homemaker. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. Services will be 2 PM Saturday, May 9, 2009 at Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. H. L. Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Park Cemetery. She is survived by her children and their spouses: Narvestor, Jr. and Carla Marie Burns of Brownwood, Patricia Burns Pickens of Fort Worth, Linda F. Burns of Mineral Wells, Rodney Burns of Brownwood, Kenneth and Linda Ann Burns of Mineral Wells, Jo Ann Burns of Mineral Wells, Jeffrey Burns of Mineral Wells, Douglas Burns of Mineral Wells, sisters: Mabel Williams of St. Paul, Minnesota, Gloria Reed of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hudson and Clara Stover, her husband, Narvestor Burns on August 30, 1960, and brothers; Forrest Stover, J. C. Gray and Hudson Stover Jr.
