Louise Craft Key, age 100, died December 9, 2019 in Big Spring, Texas. She was born December 16, 1918 in Jacksboro, Texas to Eula May Ventioner Craft and William Beneford Craft, a pioneer ranching family. She graduated from Jacksboro High School in 1937 and attended John Tarleton Agricultural College in 1929. She married James Travis Key on March 23, 1940, and he proceeded her in death on January 16, 1993. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Mineral Wells, and Past member of the Junior History Club. She was a charter member of the Mineral Wells Woman's Club. She was a Life Insurance Agent and was an allied ASID(American Society of Interior Design) member. Graveside services will be 11 AM Monday, December 16, 2019 at Woodland Park Cemetery. She was preceded in death by brothers, Clint, J.D. and W.B. Craft Jr. She is survived by two sons; Dr. Tom Travis Key and wife, Denise of Mineral Wells,and Dr. John Richard Key and wife, Sherri of Big Spring; three grandchildren, Stefanie Yacullo of Aledo, James Key and wife, Tiffany of Ft. Worth, and Richard Key and wife, Cheyenne of Wichita Falls; five great grandchildren, Skylar Yacullo and Carson Yacullo of Aledo, and Hudson, Briggs, and Lily Beth Key of Ft. Worth; a sister, Pauline Lockhart of Ft. Worth; and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to the American Cancer Society or charity of your choice.
