Lottie Grace Hudspeth passed away on February 9, 2013 in a Fort Worth hospital. Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Graveside services will be Thursday, February 14, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Woodland Park Cemetery. Grace was born in Stonewall, Oklahoma on September 7, 1919 to Alvie and Izetta Siler. Her family later moved to west Texas where she met the love of her life, Allen (Babe) Hudspeth. They married February 14, 1940 and moved to Rio Grande City, Texas where "Babe" was stationed with the "F" Troop. The rejoicing in heaven will be a grand celebration as she is reunited with her family and friends that preceded her in death. Her family and many friends here on earth will remember her everlasting patience, her sweet spirit, her laughter, and the great generosity toward everyone she met. Her loving and kind heart was a precious example for all her family and many friends to follow. She leaves us with a lifetime of joyous memories and traditions that will be her legacy and cherished testimony throughout our lives. Grace worked for the "box factory" for forty years before retiring. After retiring, she devoted her time doing whatever she could for her friends and family whom she loved so dearly. She is survived by the love of her life, husband, Allen (Babe) Hudspeth; son Allen Hudspeth Jr. and wife Kay: grandsons, Michael Hudspeth, Eric (Ricky) Hudspeth, and Jerry Locker; granddaughters, Theresa McCachran, Lisa Sagona and husband Jimmy, Connie Krynicki, Kim Sund and husband Gene; eleven great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and a great grandson.
