Lorinda Ann Franklin, 59, passed away February 3, 2017 in Graford. She was born April 9, 1957 in Mineral Wells the daughter of Brisban John Skiles and Wyvonne I. Moore. She was a longtime resident of Mineral Wells. She attended Southside Church of Christ, and was raised in the Graford Church of Christ. She worked as a waitress in the Tumbleweed Restaurant and several others throughout the years. Lorinda loved decorating, coloring, Elvis, Goerge Strait, Red lobster, and spending time with family and friends. She also loved Hawaii and said that it was the best vacation that she ever took. She had a beautiful smile and a kind and loving heart. Services will be 2 PM Sunday, February 12, 2017 in the Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Chapel. Burial will follow in McAdams Cemetery. Visitation is Saturday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law: Michael and Amanda Franklin and his father: Mike Franklin; mother: Wyvonne I. Broom; sister and brother-in-law: Janice Denise Slater and Frank Washburn; nieces and nephews: Jenifer Brumley, Krystal Graham, Jessica Lemley, and Lance Lee Lemley; several great-nieces and nephews; and 2 great-great nephews; and aunt: Jackie Pemberton. She was preceded in death by her father; brother: Carlton Lemley; and grandparents: Carl and Inez Moore; and former spouse: Robert Holman. The family wishes to thank Dr. J. P. Reddy and his nurse Denise for taking care of her. They also want to thank Ronald Kessler with Healthline Medical and the staffs of Palo Pinto General Hospital, Willow Park Rehabilitation and Care in Hudson Oaks and Hilltop Nursing Center in Weatherford for their part in taking care of her.
