Lorenzo "Lencho" Rubio

Lorenzo “Lencho” Rubio, beloved brother, passed away at his home in Mineral Wells, TX on October 14th, 2022. He was born in Meza del Sauz, Tancoyol, Jalpan, QRO, MX  on August 10th, 1967 to Jose Balderas Rubio and Crisanta Martinez Perez. 

Being the eldest of his brothers, he set a great example of a hard worker at an early age. He was able to save up and make his way to Texas in the early 1980’s. Throughout his years of hard work, he was employed in many different areas of the DFW metroplex. Although, he preferred to stay nearby friends and family local to the Mineral Wells area. Some of his more notable local employers were C&B Services of Mineral Wells and Arnold & Son Construction of Millsap.

Most will remember him as a very helpful and kind man, a hard worker, and a great friend with an infectious laugh. His presence will be greatly missed by his family and everyone.

He is preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his mother, eight siblings; Maria Rubio, Bibiana Chavez, Eva Ramirez, Valentina Rubio, Irene Rubio, Esteban Rubio, Juan Rubio, Rodolfo Rubio, alongside their spouses, and several nieces and nephews. 

He will be available for viewing starting at 12:00pm on October 24th, 2022 at Baum-Carlock- Bumgardner Funeral Home. All are invited to accompany his family at 5:00pm, with a rosary to follow 6:30 - 8:00pm. Holy Mass will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church on October 25th, 2022 at 10:00am. Internment to follow at Woodland Park Cemetery.

Lorenzo “Lencho” Rubio hijo del Sr. Jose Balderas Rubio y Sra. Crisanta Martinez Perez nació el 10 de Agosto del 1967 en La Meza del Sauz, Tancoyol, Jalpan, QRO, MX. Falleció en su casa de Mineral Wells, TX el 14 de Octubre del 2022. 

El siendo el mas grande de los barones, quizo poner el ejemplo de ser buen trabajador. Con todo su esfuerzo, el logro a llegar a los Estados Unidos en el principio de los 1980’s. De allí, el se mantuvo trabajando en compañías locales a la ciudad de Mineral Wells, TX . Las mas notables fueron C&B Services de Mineral Wells y Arnold & Sons Construction de Millsap.  

Muchos lo conocían de ser muy simpatico, buen trabajador y amigo, y listo para ayudar cuál quiera en necesidad. Se extrañará su sonrisa y presencia aquí con nosotros muchísimo.

El acompañará a su padre en el paraíso. Mientras tanto, su madre, sus hermanas y hermanos; Maria Rubio, Bibiana Chavez, Eva Ramirez, Valentina Rubio, Irene Rubio, Juan Rubio, Esteban Rubio, Rodolfo Rubio, las parejas respectivas de ellos, y todos sus sobrinos y sobrinas, siguieran orando por los dos de ellos.    

Estará presente en la funeraria de Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner desde 12:00pm el 24 de Octubre, 2022. Todos están bienvenidos acompañar la familia a 5:00pm, con el rosario empezando de 6:30-8:00pm. La santa misa tomará sitio en La Iglesia Sra. De Lourdes el 25 de Octubre, 2022 a 10:00 am. Después se llevará a su ultimo sitio de descanso en el cementerio Woodland Park.
