Lola Helterbran

Lola Helterbran passed into her Lord's arms on February 5, 2017. She was born in Erin, West Virginia, the daughter of Dewitt Felts and Ana Belle Copley. (a true Coal Miners daughter) Lola married her late husband, Robert E. Helterbran on January 15, 1946. Her family was the most important thing to her. She attended East Bridge Baptist Church of Mineral Wells, First Baptist Church of Mineral Wells, and also Ridge Crest Baptist Church in Dallas. She loved to play card games, crafts, cooking, catering, hosting Christmas parties, and the Dallas Maverick Basketball team, where she attended numerous games. A visitation will be held on Friday, February 10, 2017 from 6-8pm at Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Chapel. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2017, 2pm at Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Chapel. A burial will follow at Woodland Park Cemetery in Mineral Wells, Texas. She leaves behind her children, Bob Helterbran, JoAnn Peaden, and Cliff Helterbran, daughter-n-law Sue Helterbran; grandchildren, Marla Peaden, Karla Gaskill, Stefanie Cawood, Lindsay Price, Hailey Helterbran, and Hannah Helterbran; 9 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and adopted daughters, Lyn, Penni, Brenda B., Brenda D. and Linda. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Helterbran; son, David Helterbran; sisters, Joy, Lillian, Dolly, Gladys, Beatrice; brothers, Budge, Jim, and Wayne and Norval; nephew, Allen Tucker; and adopted daughter, Cindy Fellows.
