Lloyd DeVere Morgan

Lloyd DeVere Morgan, 90, passed away January 11, 2019 in Mineral Wells. He was born February 6, 1928 in Morland, Kansas. He married Nell Atkins in 1957 in Mineral Wells and she preceded him in death on January 28, 2003. He married Victoria Warfield in 2005 in Mineral Wells in Palo Pint and she preceded him in death on February 21, 2007. He lived in Gatesville for many years and in Weatherford and Mineral Wells after that. He was retired from the US Army as a Master Sargent having served two tours in Vietnam. Services will be 10 AM Wednesday January 16, 219 in the Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Chapel. Burial will follow in Woodland Park Cemetery. He is survived by his children and spouses: Rebecca and Donny Honea of Decatur, Richard and Robin Morgan of Austin, Russell and Brooke Barnett of Mineral Wells, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by his daughter: Sondra Morgan.
