Lloyd Lemley, 85, passed away September 4, 2010 at his residence in Graford. He was born November 22, 1924 in Palo Pinto County the son of Jess and Mettie Rouse Lemley. He married Sue Olree on July 20, 1946 in Weatherford. He was a lifetime resident of Palo Pinto County and was a Baptist. He was a veteran of the US Army having served in the 536 Armored Tractor Division in WWII. He was a past member of the Palo Pinto County Sherriff's Posse, and one of the founding members of the Possum Kingdom Volunteer Fire Department. Services will be 2 PM Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at First Baptist Church of Possum Kingdom with Rev. Ray Rogers officiating. Burial will follow in LuQueen Cemetery. Visitation is Monday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. He is survived by his wife: Sue Lemley, sons and daughter-in-law: Ronnie and Donna Lemley, Rick Lemley, Mark Lemley, daughter and son-in-law: Susan and Tommy Nicklas all of Graford, 9 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, and 1 sister.
