Lloyd Allen Jones

Lloyd Allen Jones, 61, passed away July 20, 2009 in a Dallas hospital. He was born April 13, 1948 in Mineral Wells the son of Wesley and Dorothy Marsden Jones. He married Dorothy Orr on October 22, 1966 in Santo and she preceded him in death on March 20, 1998. He married Charla Reese on April 14, 2000 in Mineral Wells. He was a longtime resident of Santo, and was raised in Lone Camp. He was a member of the Lone Camp Baptist Church. He spent 6 years in the Army National Guard. He was a member of the Lone Star Street Rod Association for collector cars. He loved life, to laugh, and just have a good time. Services will be 10 AM, Thursday, July 23, 2009 at the Lone Camp Community Center with Brother Gary Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Santo North Cemetery. Visitation is Wednesday from 6-8 PM at the Lone Camp Community Center. He is survived by his wife: Charla Jones of Santo, daughters and son-in-law: Wendy and Greg Knutson of Weatherford, Tina Jones of Weatherford, son: Ricky Jones of Mineral Wells, step-son: Josh Dowell of Huckabay, grandchildren: Robin, Christy, Brittany, Colton, Tyler, Katlyn, Jake, Michael J., Shannon, Evan, and Shaelynn, great-grandchild: Trent, brothers and sister-in-law: Don and Shirley Jones of Santo, Jerry Jones of Mineral Wells, sisters and brother-in-law: Anita Jones of Lone Camp, Melanie and Rob Brownrigg of Weatherford, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by his parents: Wesley and Dorothy Jones, and step-son: Jared Dowell.
