Lloyd Dean Allen, 85 of El Paso passed away January 19 after a brief illness. Lloyd was born in Brazos, the son of H.E. Allen and Vivian (Bradford) Allen. Lloyd served in both WWII and the Korean War as a member of the U.S. Navy. He was a talented man with his mind and hands; working for Lockheed Martin, Cox Municipal Airport and ROHR Aircraft in Chula Vista CA. as an aircraft mechanic. Lloyd never met a stranger. He loved life and people, and always had a "story" for everyone he met. He is survived by sister: Virginia Behrens Bradford of Brazos; two nephews: Carl Grady Behrens and wife Linda of Brazos, Joey Allen of Houston; niece: Becky Allen of Houston and several great nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday January 25 from 6-8pm; graveside service is Saturday the 26th of January at 10am at Dobbs Valley Cemetery.
