Linda B. King of Mineral Wells passed away on December 9, 2016; the world lost a wonderful, loving person. A celebration of her life will be scheduled at a later date. Ted her husband of 34 years has lost his best friend, lover and partner. Linda was the only person who managed to improve his vision of the world. She always looked for the good in people and was forgiving of others. Ted was usually the one who tested those qualities she possessed. She was also the most trustworthy and honest person you could have known. Linda exemplified Christian values. She was not affiliated with any particular church, but was a born and bred Baptist who loved her God. She spent many years trying to help Ted find faith. Not in a harsh, demanding manner; but with patience and understanding.Linda was born in Littlefield, Texas on June 26, 1946. She grew up in Mineral Wells, graduating from high school in 1964. After spending a few years living and working in Washington State, she returned to Mineral Wells. She worked for many years at Mepco/Philips until the plant shut down.She is survived by her husband, Ted King; sister, Paula Moore; brothers, Jimmy Long, Kenneth Moore, and Larry Moore; and many nieces and nephews.
