Lillian Lorene Smith Hillstrom

Lillian Lorene Smith Hillstrom, 86, passed away October 29, 2011 in a Mineral Wells nursing home. She was born February 5, 1925 in Avery, Texas the daughter of Era Ray and Lorenteen French Smith. She married Howard Hillstrom on July 27, 2001 in Trapper's Creek, Alaska. She was a longtime resident of Mineral Wells and was a Baptist. She was a member of the American Legion and the VFW. She was a past member of the Pythian Sisters. Memorial services will be 2 PM Wednesday, November 2, 2011 in the Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Chapel with Jack Langham officiating. She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law: R. L. and Kathy Smith of Mineral Wells, sisters: Jo Loughmiller of Lampasas, Marie Langham of Dallas, Imajean Callis of Argyle, sons and daughters-in-law: Lloyd and Janice Holloway of Mineral Wells, J. R. and Alice Holloway of Mineral Wells, grandchildren and spouses: Corky and Rhonda Patterson of Millsap, Clint and Kim Patterson of Stonewall, Louisiana, Byron and Beth Holloway of Haslet, Kim and Colt Powers of Mineral Wells, Cutter and Vanessa Holloway of Mineral Wells, Trudy Holloway, 9 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, 3 step-sons, and 4 step-daughters. She was preceded in death by her husband on February 26, 2008, brother: James Smith, sister: Frances Montgomery, and daughter: Linda Patterson.
