Lidia Moreno

Lidia Delgado Moreno, 82, passed away January 18, 2014 at her home in Joshua. She was born July 20, 1931 in Santa Rosa, Texas the daughter of Jose and Teresa Luna Delgado. She married George Moreno in 1979 in Stamford. She had lived in Joshua for the past 3 years and in Mineral Wells prior to that since 1993. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. Services will be 2 PM Tuesday, January 21, 2014 in the Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Chapel. Burial will follow in Woodland Park Cemetery. Visitation was Monday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. She is survived by her children and spouses: Delores Vargas of Mineral Wells, Margie and Desi Flores of Mineral Wells, Ignacio and Katherine Pena of Odessa, Dorothy and Porfirio Guzman of Mineral Wells, Lupe and Wade Mitchell of Mineral Wells, Emilio Pena of Odessa, Rosalinda and Fred Martinez of Oklahoma, Janie and Mark Hagar of Euless, Fidencia and Rick Soto of Joshua, Jose Pena of Abilene, and Isabell Carranza of Mathis, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, 2 sisters, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband in 2013, and 2 sisters.
