Lester Elmore

Lester Harold Elmore, 65, passed away January 14, 2016 in Decatur. He was born January 21, 1950 in Mineral Wells the son of Victor Warren and Donnie Mae Houghton Elmore. He married Marcia Shawver on March 16, 1971 in Perrin. He was a longtime resident of Jack County and a member of the Perrin Assembly of God Church. He founded Lester Elmore Ministry in 1997. Graveside services will be 2 PM Monday, January 25, 2016 at the Perrin Memorial Gardens Cemetery. He is survived by his wife Marcia Elmore of Jacksboro, children: Delbert Warren Elmore and wife Dawn of Perrin, D'Nae Hinkle and husband David of Perrin, grandchildren: Andrea, Dylan, and Nicholas Hinkle, and Aydin Elmore, brothers: Jack Houghton and wife Leatha of Mineral Wells, Joe Elmore of Cookeville, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother: Derl Houghton.
