Leonard Moore

Leonard Willis Moore, 89, passed away March 10, 2011 in Paradise, Texas. He was born April 26, 1921 in Oplin, Texas the son of Preston Willis and Beulah Shaw Moore. He was a retired Master Chief of the US Navy having served in Vietnam and WWII. He was self employed in the HVAC and Plumbing business. Services will be 2 PM Monday, March 14, 2011 in the Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Chapel with Terry Mitchell officiating. The graveside service will be 1 PM Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at Cedar Gap Cemetery in Abilene. He is survived by his daughters: Ann Turner of Alvarado, Nancy Steinhauer of Paradise, 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 3 step-children, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by 2 wives, his parents, and his sister Verla.
