Lena Shewmake

Lena Oleva Shewmake, 83, passed away January 2, 2016 in Mineral Wells. She was born January 16, 1932 in Gravel Hill the daughter of Eustes Earl and Blanche Ledger Conn. She married Joe Shewmake on December 27, 1950 in Mineral Wells. She was a longtime resident of Mineral Wells and a member of Salesville Baptist Church. Services will be 10 AM Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at Salesville Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Salesville Cemetery. Visitation is Tuesday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. She is survived by her husband: Joe Shewmake of Mineral Wells, daughters and sons-in-law: Linda and David Shields of Weatherford, Sandra and Charley Halford of El Paso, granddaughters: Ashley Jones of Lawton, Oklahoma, Kelsey Jones of Weatherford, sisters: Teresa Moore of Hemphill, Laveta Joyce, and numerous other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.
