Lena Mae Pruitt, 91, a precious, Christian woman, passed away March 27, 2012 at her daughters home surrounded by family. Most of her adult life was spent with her beloved husband W. E. "Bud" Pruitt in Palo Pinto County. They, their children, and their extended family spent many happy years on the family place in Pleasant Valley on the Brazos River. She truly lived the commandment to love one another and in return she was greatly loved. She was employed at Edo-Air for years. Services will be 4 PM Friday, March 30, 2012 at North Oak Church of Christ with Brad Fry and Brian Reagan officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Park Cemetery. Dinner will be served for family and friends following interment at the church. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law: Eldred and Glenda Pruitt of Arlington, daughter and son-in-law: Marsha and Roy Davis of Mineral Wells, grandchildren: Kayle Pruitt, Kari Lawrence, Nanelle and Tom Siple, Connie Pruitt, Amy and Brent Tincher, and Brandon Davis, 12 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, and many loved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers and sisters, her husband in July of 2001, and her grandson: Neal Pruitt. If desired, memorials may be made to North Oak Church of Christ where she and Bud were faithful members for many years.
