Lena Mae Carter, 78, passed away July 14, 2018 in Weatherford. She was born July 17, 1939 in Santo the daughter of James Franklin and Josie Velma Bradley Stover. She married John Rosco Price in 1957 in Mineral Wells and he preceded her in death on January 27, 1967. She married Giles Carter in 1968 in Mineral Wells and he preceded her in death on October 16, 2006. She was a lifetime resident of Santo and a member of the First Baptist Church of Santo. Lena Mae (MeMe) spent her entire life serving others and always putting others before herself. She worked countless hours to raise and provide for her 4 children to ensure that one day each and every one of them would have a prosperous future. After retirement, family, friends, and her 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren became her passion and delight in life. MeMe loved the Lord with the sweetest of all hearts. She lived by example of sharing her love for Jesus with all those around her. Her ultimate desire in life here on earth was to ensure that one day she would see all those she loved again in her Master's Kingdom. Services will be 10 AM Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at First Baptist Church of Santo. Burial will follow in Santo North Cemetery. She is survived by her children and their spouses: Norman Price, Michael and Dana Price, Rod and Carol Price, and Roxie Carter, step-sons: Royce and Bill Carter and their families, grandchildren and their spouses: Amanda and Philip Colvin, Matthew and Haley Price, Colt Price, Gabe Price, Dylan Price, Paxton Bean, and Pierce Bean, 6 great-grandchildren, good family friends: Lonnie Jones and Freda Dorin, brother: Harold Dean Stover, and numerous nieces and nephews.
