Laura Sherley

Laura Frances Sherley, 89, passed away September 7, 2015 in a Mineral Wells nursing home. She was born August 11, 1926 in Naples, Oklahoma the daughter of John and Cordelia Barrett Myers. She married James Edward Sherley on April 8, 1943 in Levelland. She was a longtime resident of Mineral Wells and attended the Assemblies of God. Services will be 10 AM Thursday, September 10, 2015 in the Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Chapel. Burial will follow in New Hope Cemetery. Visitation is Wednesday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. She is survived by her children and spouses: James and Vickey Sherly of Mineral Wells, David and Judy Sherley of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Jannie and Kevin Kimber of Mineral Wells, Raymond Sherley of Mineral Wells, Kim and Henry Ince of Mississippi, 9 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-granddaughter, 2 sisters, and numerous other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband on July 1, 1967, 2 brothers, and 3 sisters.
