Laura Mae Goen

Laura Mae Goen, 93, passed away January 2, 2016 in Weatherford. She was born August 27, 1922 in Denver, Colorado the daughter of Arthur and Jennie Hewitt Higgins. She was a longtime resident of Millsap and a member of Beulah Baptist Church. Graveside services will be 2 PM Thursday, January 7, 2016 at Goen Cemetery. Visitation is Wednesday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. She is survived by her son: Mark Goen of Millsap, granddaughters: Sarah Goen, Carmelita Goen, Melissa Supak and husband Bryan, great-granddaughter: Harper Supak, nephew: Robert Saling and wife Linda, and numerous other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Lewis Erwin Goen on June 13, 2006, son: Stephen Goen, 2 sisters, and 1 brother.
