Larry Joe Glidewell

Larry Joe Glidewell, 66, passed away July 30, 2014 at his home in Mineral Wells. He was born October 28, 1947 in Mineral Wells the son of Joe Mack and Bertha Josephine Henson Glidewell. He married Mercedes Inay on April 3, 1981 in Mineral Wells. He was a lifetime resident of Mineral Wells. He owned and operated EMTEC until he retired in 1999. He also worked at PECO for many years. He was a past member of the Palo Pinto General Hospital Board from 1992-1998. He was a veteran of the US Air Force. Mass will be 10 AM Saturday, August 2, 2014 at the Our Lady of Lourdes Worship Center. Burial will follow in Woodland Park Cemetery. The Rosary is Friday at 6:30 PM with visitation following until 8:30 PM. He is survived by his wife: Mercedes Glidewell, daughters: Leann Johnson (Jason), Amanda Glidewell all of Mineral Wells, sons: Andy Glidewell (Jennifer) of Forney, Jeremy Glidewell of Mineral Wells, David Crombie (Kara) of Jacksboro, grandchildren: Maxi Schultz, Justin and Garrison Johnson, Colt Glidewell, Kenzie Crombie, siblings: Sandra Meyer (Joe), Serena Wigginton (Donnie), Weldon Glidewell (Phyllis), Terri Glidewell, and Charlotte Fagan all of Mineral Wells, numerous nieces and nephews, and favorite cousin: Linda Greenlee of Flower Mound.
