Lana Page

Lana Page was a beloved mother, grandmother, and wife in her 80 years of life. She passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, on March 8, 2022. Her quick wit, sense of humor, and loving heart will be fondly remembered and sorely missed.

Lana was born on August 31, 1941, to T.J. and Willie Mae Weeks in Arizona. She was a graduate of Mineral Wells High School and would later complete various college leveled classes for Bookkeeping related skills.

In October of 1960, Lana gave birth to her first daughter, Cheryl, then her second, Sherry, soon after in November 1961. She was known as the fun mom that all the girls’ friends wanted to spend time with and confide in. She was very active in her daughters’ schools and even became their high school drill team sponsor.

Lana met the love of her life, Larry Page, at a Halloween party in 1978 and were then married on August 10, 1984. She chose this specific date because it was her grandparents’ anniversary. She adored her grandparents and viewed them and their marriage as tremendous role models. Upon marrying Larry, she gained a bonus son, Kyle, whom she loved as her own.

Lana absolutely loved spending time and visiting with her family. Every conversation or visit ended with her telling them, “I love you dearly.” She was also an avid reader and passed this love on to some of her family members.

Lana is survived by her children, Cheryl Kinman and husband Jimmy, Sherry Carroll-Pratt and husband Karl, and Kyle Page; her many grandchildren, Jeremy Kinman and wife Carla, Jennifer Kinman, Jake Kinman and wife Heather, Jamie Kinman and wife Kasha, Brian Purefoy and wife Jaimie, Stefanie Gresham and husband Darren, Brandy Aanenson and husband Kerry; along with many great grandchildren, Aunt, Linda Hutton, and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Larry Page; Parents, T.J. and Willie Mae Weeks and sister, Paula (Dink).

A memorial service will be held for Lana on March 26, 2022 at 2:00pm at the Church of God in Mineral Wells.
