Lallie Nelson

Lallie Nelson passed into her Lord's arms on October 22, 2016. She was born in Marion County, Kellyville, Texas; the daughter of Terry Lee Nelson and Eddie Faye Norville Nelson. She attended school in Kellyville and Jefferson Texas school district. At an early age she joined Enon Baptist Church even though she moved to Mineral Wells, Texas and attended many churches Lallie still remain a member of Enon Baptist Church in Jefferson, Texas.As a resident of Mineral Wells she held many jobs but must notable was at Palo Pinto General Hospital where she worked 25 years as a Housekeeping supervisor. This job provides for her life and retirement, Lallie was a lifelong resident of Mineral Wells, Texas. She loved to quilt and work in her puzzle books.She leaves behind her children, Edward Nelson (Mary Helen), Darryl Nelson (Sandra), Johnny Nelson, JoCarol Nelson, Kimberly Nelson-Durst, Bennie Nelson, and Rosalind White (William). Sister Mattie Lewis, a host of Grand children, Great grandchildren, Nieces and Nephews, and mother's special friend Cathy Self.She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Clifton Nelson, Walter Lewis Nelson and sister June Jones.A visitation will be held on Friday, October 28, 2016. From 6-8 p.m. Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Chapel. A funeral services will be held Saturday October 29, 2016, 2 p.m. at Mt. Hermon First Baptist Church following will be a graveside service at Woodland Park Cemetery. Officiating will be Karium Carter.
