Kevin DeWayne Dow, 40, went to his Heavenly home on Thursday, July 17, 2014. A visitation was held from 5 to 7pm on Sunday, July 20, at the Mineral Wells Church of God. A celebration of his life was held on Monday, July 21, at 2:00 pm at the Mineral Wells Church of God, officiated by Pastor Jerrel Tomlin; burial immediately following at Union Hill Cemetery.Kevin was born in Mineral Wells, TX, on January 3, 1974, the son of Noella Witt Finley and Odis Dow. He was a graduate of the Mineral Wells High School Class of 1992, and a 1997 graduate of Tarleton State University with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering. He married Kacy Wheeler on July 7, 2001. Together they enjoyed an abundant life of blessings. Kevin was employed by PecoFACET (formerly Perry Equipment Corporation) for 17 years, where he served in the capacity of Proposals Manager.Kevin was a man full of compassion. The Lord blessed him with many talents and he used them to the fullest of his ability. Kevin was a faithful husband and son, a loving brother and uncle, and a best friend. He was devoted to his Lord, his wife, and his family. He enjoyed the complete outdoors, his biggest passions for elk hunting, fishing, designing and building.Kevin is survived by his wife, Kacy; parents, Noella Finley, Odis and Tracy Dow. Siblings, Kenneth Dow, Karissa Kroll and husband, Kent; Bryan Dow and wife, Kimberly; Victoria Kimber and husband, Kyle, Keith Finley, Chad Keeton, Bruce Keeton; a special companion, Mr. Lincoln. Mother in law, Kay Wheeler; sister in-law, Kathy Jo Lusk and husband, Bubba. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, William and Vivian Witt and Raymond and Marget Dow; father-in-law, Floyd Wheeler.A special thank you to Dr Tanya Dixon, Dr Isaac Melguizo, and Dr. Fernando Silva.
