Kerry Lynn Woodring

Kerry Lynn Woodring, of Mineral Wells, Texas, passed away surrounded by his family on June 22, 2022 at the of age 75. He was born October 12, 1946 in Mineral Wells, TX. Kerry proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. On January 10, 1969 Kerry married the love of his life, Susan Schenk. Kerry and Susan had two beautiful children, Robert and Carol. He retired from Devon Energy after 26 years as a gas collector. Upon retirement they spent time together traveling, hunting, and fishing, with their children and grandchildren.

Kerry is survived by wife Susan Woodring; children and spouses, Robert “Bobby” and Mandy Woodring and Carol and JJ Mayo; grandchildren, Tanner, Faith and Gage Woodring, Frank Martin, Brittany Mayo, Sydney, Colton, Stormie Mayo; great grandchildren, Hudson Mayo and Savahanna Martin, Sister in law, Judy Bowers; niece Debbie Catota; great nieces and nephews, Brianah and Mark Gonzales, Kristian and Ulysses Catota.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Emma Lee and Frank Wood; father, Chester and Minnie Woodring; brother, Dale Woodring.

Memorial Service will be held Saturday, June 25th, 2:00 pm at Indian Creek Baptist Church, Mineral Wells, Texas.

Kerry was known for his tall stature and big smile. His presence will be missed by all that knew and loved him.
